Announcement: Jesuits West

Dear Parishioners,

After nearly 140 years of ministry in Alaska, the Jesuits have announced the conclusion of their priestly service in Alaska. This summer, Fr. Gregg Wood, SJ will return to the lower 48. To assist in the transition, Fr. Tom Provinsal, SJ and Fr. Rich Magner, SJ will continue to serve in their current assignments in the Diocese of Fairbanks until the summer of 2026.

I am grateful to the Jesuits for allowing Fr. Tom and Fr. Rich to remain with us for another year and invite all the faithful to read the attached letter from the Jesuits West Province. Please keep the Jesuits and their parishioners in your prayers during this time of historic change for the Church in Alaska.
