We Need Your Prayers!
Alaska can be an inhospitable place. Our priests and other ministers often travel between several villages in inclimate weather, to offer the sacrifice of the Mass, or other pastoral support. Forty of our forty-eight parishes are missionary parishes, which are unable to financially support themselves. For many of our peoples, a subsistance lifestyle is both a cultural and practical norm in remote Alaskan villages.
The ministers and people of our diocese rely on the graces and support you offer in the form of prayer. We know that God listens to and answers the prayers of his faithful people, and we are grateful for your offered intercessions.

- Novena in Honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
- Saint Therese Novena (Patroness of Alaskan Missions)
