Catholic Campus Ministry
The Catholic Campus Minister, Rev. Gerald Ornowski, MIC offers a Catholic presence to students at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks (UAF). Students are welcome to drop in and visit with Fr. Gerald at the Catholic Student Center, located on the UAF campus at 514 Copper Lane. St. Mark's University Parish is a full-service parish, serving students and off-campus parishioners. Adult Faith Formation, RCIA classes, retreats, marriage and baptismal preparation, and other programs are offered.There is no physical church building for Catholic services so a Sunday Mass is offered in Schaible Auditorium (Bunnell Building) at 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM. Weekday Masses are celebrated Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 5:00 PM, at the Catholic Student Center on Copper Lane.
New Students: New students are welcome and encouraged to register with Catholic Campus Ministry / St. Mark's University Parish upon arrival at the UAF campus.
